Makivo is built so your data stays on your Mac.
Offline by default
Parsing, formatting, diffing and format detection all happen locally on your Mac. There is no account and no analytics.
No network at all
The app never connects to the internet: it has no network permission. cURL Inspector parses and converts requests without sending them.
Kept in memory
Your input stays in memory. Only UI settings are saved; logs and caches never contain your content.
No shell, ever
Makivo never runs shell commands. .env values stay literal and are never interpolated.
Purchases and updates
Makivo is sold and updated through the Mac App Store. Apple processes the purchase; we never see your payment details or your Apple ID.
This website
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log basic request data. It uses no cookies or analytics.
